The Quonquont Farm in Whatley Massachusetts was the setting for Nicole and Tyler’s wedding reception. The date was June 29th 2013, we started coverage at two locations. I began the day at the home of Nicole’s parents with her girls. When I arrived the makeup artist and hair dresser was busy with finishing touches on the girls. Nicole was one of our brides who decided to set up a Pinterest page with us to pin her favorites. I began doing some shots of her rings with a newspaper with her wedding date. I also did a nice grouping including her shoes and jewelry. My assistant Julie started with the guys at the Holiday Inn in Hadley. Tyler and his guys had some great fun shots planned and brought the props. The ceremony was held at St Brigid’s in Amherst, Ma. We met up with Creative Video by Nelson at the church and worked alongside them for the rest of the event. They are great to work with and understand the shots we need. We both do a great job working around each other respecting what the other needs to do. When the ceremony ended it was time for a few formals in the church then off to Quonquont Farm for shots with the wedding party. This was our first visit to Quonquont Farm, but I had visited it earlier at met with Jenelle the event Coordinator. I took a tour of the farm to scout out locations to take awesome photographs for Nicole and Tyler. I had some spots picked out so the formals went like a breeze and we got some stunning photographs. The grounds at Quonquont Farm have many possibilities for great wedding photos. One of our favorite photos was the couple’s two dogs with them. A friend had brought the dogs to the farm just for this purpose, and then took them home. The reception started with introductions of the wedding party and the couple went right into their first dance followed by the toasts. Dinner was served by the caterer and DJ Steve Shenn kept the party going long into the evening.
